Congrats to Paul Hovey.  On December 9, 2008, he completely rewired and built a new epee from scratch.  Next up...foil!

Do you need equipment?  Not for beginners and intermediate classes.

Do I ever need to buy equipment?  If you continue to fence after basic and intermediate classes, you will.

Do I need to buy equipment for competition?  No.

You really have two months to decide whether or not you want to purchase equipment.  Owning your own equipment becomes mandatory when you have finished the beginners and intermediate class.  Once you become a basic member or a competitive member, you will need your own equipment.

Many of our fencers use fencing.net for their fencing supply purposes.  Please take an opportunity to visit http://shop.fencing.net.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the staff at All-American Fencing Academy.
