10-15 Anniversary and Reunion Schedule Update

Small Update to the the 10-15 Anniversary and Reunion Weekend.  For the Saturday luncheon, we will do a Potluck for lunch instead of a potluck dinner.  Please sign up for the potluck.  That way, we can just enjoy the movie in the evening.  I’ll bring pizza and drinks for the evening movie.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Friday, June 8, 2018:

  • Arrivals: Contact your old friends and teammates to see if they are in town.
  • Open club
    6PM:  The fencing club will be open at 6PM. Current fencers may be fencing or taking lessons. The fencing club will also serve as a meeting/rendezvous location for any fencers having dinner or an evening in Downtown Fayetteville.
  • On your own social
    6PM:  Team and alumni Downtown Fayetteville (or anywhere else you choose) “On Your Own” social. Meet with friends and family to head out to town.

Saturday, June 9, 2018:

  • Team/Alumni/Family Potluck Lunch
    Arnette Park, Pavilion 4, 2165 Wilmington HWY, Fayetteville, NC
    11AM-12PM:  Arrivals
    12-3PM:  Potluck lunch (sign up for Potluck here: http://www.luckypotluck.com/potluck/AAFA1015AnniversaryandReunion)
    The park is on old Highway 87, about four miles south of downtown Fayetteville. It has a combination of developed facilities and natural woodland. Amenities include picnic pavilions, nature trails, 18 hole disc golf course, football and soccer fields, softball fields, horseshoe pits, tennis courts, sand volleyball courts and playgrounds.
  • Pizza, Cake, and a Movie: “The Fencer”
    7PM:  Pizza, cake, and movie at the All-American Fencing Academy.  Bring a chair or blanket.

Sunday, June 10, 2018:

  • Open Fencing
    10AM:  Open fencing, you can borrow any equipment, go electric if you want.
  • Short individual lessons for anyone interested
