Don’t forget this weekend is our next home, unsanctioned, teen and adult tournament. If you didn’t see earlier, it’s been moved up to 10AM. Event fee is $20.
If you haven’t yet, please pre-register: https://askfred.net/Events/whoIsComing.php?tournament_id=49527
//IMPORTANT// in March, we will be hosting our SANCTIONED tournament (event fee is $40). Here’s the difference between unsanctioned and sanctioned:
1) Fencers have the opportunity to earn a rating.
2) **Fencers must have an Access USA Fencing Membership.
USA Fencing Membership: A reminder that all students must have a current USA Fencing Membership (this must be renewed every August).
Non-Competitive Membership ($10): Most of you probably have the Non-Competitive Membership, this is good for practices and unsanctioned tournaments.
Access Membership ($25): Some of our fencers have this, this is required to compete in local sanctioned competition.
Competitive Membership ($85): Few of our fencers have this. This is required for National and Regional USA Fencing tournaments.

Congrats to our recent competitors at the Greensboro youth event and team homeschool event! Max Greene took 2nd place, Daniel took 8th place, and Isaiah took 12th place. Those are great results! The next youth circuit event between Greensboro, Fayetteville, and Wilmington will be on March 26th. Youth fencers are also earning points for the circuit, you can view the youth points leaders here: https://askfred.net/Results/plist.php?list_id=4133
Also congrats to our teen homeschool team, Seth Hopel and Luke Eaves. They once again took 1st in a close match against Greensboro’s Oakridge Homeschool Fencing. The next Homeschool team event will also be on March 26th.
Our fencers are doing great! We love to see the friendships and we love to see you learning!
We’ve seen some fencers wearing team wear, in case you were wondering where they are getting their t-shirts and hoodies, visit https://www.allamericanfencing.com/team-wear/
